So right now I am down to 4 hens. 2 have gone broody, 1 is a bantam polish that lays maybe 2 times a week. This stinks cause last year I was getting 6 eggs a day and now..... I am lucky to get 1 egg every other day!
Now I do have 28 three week olds so in time I will have many eggs again.
Should I buy a laying hen and then just ummm....sell her later?
I'm not even getting enough eggs to get us by right now.
