Should I buy the bag of crushed oyster shells or is it ok if I crush my own?

Hi we had a oyster party and I was wondering should I keep buying the bag of crushed oyster shells or is it the same thing if I crush them my self?

Yes. They're the same thing. Probably want to clean them very well or bake them first.

I say go for it! @imnukensc gave great advice clean or bake them first. I would have never thought to bake them but i bet they break easier that way. Best of luck!

Easier to just buy them.

We had a lot of oyster shells 100. People ate them I've got a TON I personally don't eat oysters but my family does but it may be easier to buy them you are right thanks everyone for the feedback
