should i buy them crickets from the pet store

the pet store doesn't sell any mealworms but they do sell crickets so i was wondering if my 4 week old chicks would like those? would the chicks be able to catch the crickets (i would get the small kind or cricket)?
answer fast because we are going to the pet store in a hour to get more dog food

Mine had them last week. They are around 3 weeks old and they loved them although I fed like 2 at a time so none got away

You could try plucking off a back leg so the crickets couldn't hop...
