I don't know if I should get her...
Pros.
Easy to ride
Goes where you want it too
Nice
Doesn't bite, kick, buck, etc
Will go fast if you want it to
Not too much money

Cons.
Sometimes runs back to the gate because her friends are there
Moved away when putting the saddle on
Fast
Always wants food

Picture?
How old?
Have you had her vetted, is she sound?

Under Cons, you say she is fast. Can you control her, make her go slow if you want her to? If not, I would say don't get her, she is a wreck waiting to happen and you could get seriously hurt. You may need to wait until you are more experienced and can handle her safely. Take lessons maybe?

You say she is a pony. I am not asking your age but consider how soon you will outgrow her and will need to sell her and get a full-size horse. That can be heartbreaking. Maybe you are ready for a horse now, not a pony.

Another thought. Ponies can be bratty because they are often not properly schooled due to their size. It takes a skilled rider to keep an equine properly schooled, and ponies are usually ridden by children who lack the skills and experience to keep them well disciplined. Are you a good enough rider to make her listen and obey? Just something to think about. Not much fun to ride an animal that argues with you.

She is 7 years old.
She has never been to the vet just dewormed but if we get her she will be checked up before we get her.
I am a pretty expirenced rider so with work I might be able to make her slower.
She will last me a pretty long time. She can carry people around 200 pounds no problem.

She is a very sweet pony exept at feeding time with the other animals. I have been riding for 3 years now, taking lessons, we have had 2 horses in the past, I could get them to listion a little but they were old and reasue horses so it was definitly not much fun to ride them 😂

I wss thinking more about the length of your legs rather than your weight. But if your legs outgrow her sides you can use a little riding bat to communicate with her. She is a cutie! If it were me, I would buy her. When my Arabian mare would go too fast I would just circle her. I was very inexperienced at first and did not realize I was gripping with my legs, signaling her to go faster, duh! Lol. Long time ago. She gave me much joy and made a good rider of me. Have fun!

I don't think my legs would outgrow her for at least a couple of years or longer. Thanks! I'll go ride her again to see how I like her since I am more used to her now. Thank you!!
