Should I clean and blow dry the polish

oh dear. Some individuals have been having a bit too much fun in the rain. Should we clean them and dry them or you think they’ll be ok? It’s cold here atm dropping to freezing at night though they do have a small tube heater in the coop.

No. If they need shelter, they will find it. And they will get themselves preened and dry before bedtime.
And they will be fine without heat in the coop. It's best to just let them adjust to cold temps. Dipping below freezing is not really cold for chickens. Remember that they are wearing full body, down parkas.
 
I would not bother either...Is the run covered in a tarp?..You could put them in earlier so they dry on their own after free ranging.

Yeah they have a solid roof over the run. Will herd em all back in shortly. Installed a little 40w tube which comes on if it drops below zero. Mostly for the growers as it dropped quite suddenly this year and they were not long out of the brooder.
