I have a broody hen sitting on a clutch about half way through development. Another hen started laying her eggs (soft shell *just started laying again after dog attack*) and they ended up breaking, thus yolk on some of the fertile eggs
I tried wiping as much as possible off but some have quite a bit hardened onto the shell...is there anything to do?

Hello! The same thing happened to our broody hen's eggs. We did not clean them off, and they still hatched. So, I think you are good to go!

I would honestly just leave them because disturbing the nest too much or the eggs can make the hen stop sitting on them.

If they were in an incubator and they were dirty then I would say to clean them, but I don't think that you should disturb the nest anymore than you have.
