Should I clean off dirty eggs before I start incubating?

I'm going to be washing mine and treating them with peroxide from now on. I'm losing too many eggs from the varieties I'm attempting to incubate. I have an older hen that ALWAYS defecates on her eggs, and I'm really wanting to hatch her eggs before it's too late. Also, the bloom can be a breeding ground for bacteria all by itself, and the bloom is mostly lost through egg turning and contact with the ground and bedding, so in my opinion there are holes all over it before the hen even decides to sit her clutch. So yeah, the bloom thing sounds like old misinformation to me.

if you are letting the hen lay her own eggs and then sitting on them, keep your hands off.
if you are putting eggs into an incubator, just wipe of the slightly soiled eggs with a slightly moist paper towel. the more heavily soiled eggs might need a wet towel.
i never use soap or chemicals. just plain water.
I hatch batches of 4oo eggs at a time/
