Should I count my losses now

Day 7 and overall I don't see any changes. Nothing telling me there is a chick developing in the Orpingtons.
Eggs didn't smell bad though.

This is my 1st hatch, so maybe I'm missing something

I'll recheck Sunday

In that pic it does look like there are veins growing though

Day 9 today, so I'll recheck tonight as I definitely should be able to see something by now

Out of 12 eggs, 11 of them are moving on tonight. 1 for sure was gone and there are 2 I'm unsure of.

I'll recheck day 14.

Late, but I always wash my eggs that get set if it's more than a small spot of poop, especially if it isn't just a smear

Good news. That is actually VERY good for shipped eggs.

Day 14 and so far everyone is hanging in there!
Some of the eggs do seem more developed than others but I can still see good veins and movement

One final check tonight (Day 16) and we lost another Orpington.

So far the count is:
12 Orpingtons we have lost 2
14 BCM- I have not discarded any, as they are too dark. None smell, so I'm keeping my fingers x
She also included an Olive Egger and it's doing well
11 Welsummers we have lost 4

I'm pretty happy with how things have been going. Now let's see how many hatch
