should I discard my eggs?

Welcome to the group. I am on day four as well!! Good friday chicks coming up, hopefully...lol I had planned to set Sunday and hatch out on Easter, but I picked my eggs up on Friday and couldn't wait, so they went in Friday afternoon...lol I hope you guys don't think I'm being pushy if I ask what kind of incubators (still or forced air) you are using and what you are using for temps and humidity?
I made my incubator, got the idea from YouTube, is working fine so far. I got my eggs from a farm, it is a test run, I have no idea what breed I got, lol. I am using a temperature controler and a termomether/hygrometer from home depot.

Thanks for this thread! I'm new at this too and I'm only on day 4 and I'm freaking out. I'm so worried about doing something wrong! I have 24 silkies and 2 random ones from my LF to fill the space! Crossing fingers and following this post!
Wow, you have you hands full. I am testing my incubator with 7, that way I can make adjustments if it doesn't work, as I made it myself but waiting for more eggs by the end of the month, good luck!

This what I made, not pretty, but works, lol. It cost me around $20.

Glad this thread was started. I had the same question. We candled a few eggs and two are obviously not fertile/viable. I have chickens, on day 7, set 30. We have a self regulating incubator, but I've left them in just in case. This is our Easter Hal.
My day 7 starts this afternoon. I can't wait to candle and mark my air cells. I already know there's two bloodrings I need to remove. The other 40 were developing great, I just hope they all still are.
