Should I feed eggshells to the chickens?

Would it be helpful to feel the eggshells to the chickens? (calcium, etc.)

Most everyone does. Dry them. Crush them, if you wish, and feed them back.

Yes, I dry the egg shell first and then when I get enough of them. Then i have my son crushed them all at the same time, he finds that fun. I mixed them in the feed and they peck away at them. But I do a little at a time, not all my pullets are layer yet, I don't want to over do it on the calcium. I also have the oyster shells in a different container for those who want more of it.
