Should i finally help hatch?

@getaclue

hey, love the idea but I have some concerns if I were to try a sling like yours, the chick couldn't thermoregulate. Even if they can't walk they can usually still hobble around a bit.
What temperature would you keep them at in the sling?

I keep them in the brooder, at about 95 degrees, just like all the others. Usually they are fine in a day, or two.

he's legs looked stiff and curled when he tried to walk but they weren't it just looked like it at the time. But i am still very impressed that he wasn't weak at all

Glad to hear the chick is fine. Now, get it back with the rest of it's family, in the brooder. 95 degrees the first week, 90 the second week, 85 the third week, 80 the fourth week, etc. Be sure the heat source is mostly at one end of the brooder, so the chicks can get into a cooler area, if they get hot. They'll move back to the warmer area when they need more heat.
