Should I freeze zucchini?

I have a few leftover zucchini. I have been giving my girls frozen fruit and frozen corn with the hot weather we have been having here in Florida I'm trying to find any little thing to help keep them cool. Wondering if I should freeze the zucchini also? TIA for any input!

I freeze zucchini. I grate it and measure it out for making loaves of bread. When I need it I just take it out ahead of time let it thaw and then make up my bread. Works like a charm.

Oh I didn't think about that. I bet the girls would like it ten times better if it looked like worms. They go nuts over spaghetti. Wonder if I should skin it first?

I have done both. Works great either way.
