Should I get a Miniature Horse??

that is so cool! If I lived in Michigan I would go see them but I live pretty far away from there!
I just figured out that there is a horse rescue about an hour from where I live, and I would love to rescue a mini! My question is, if I rescue a mini, I'm guessing they wont have a young one, so how hard is it to train an older mini? I wouldn't want one any older than 5, so that I could raise her. Is that too old to begin training? I just thought that it would make it that much better if i rescued one

I havent seen a mini that is to old yet to be trained.

If you are looking to rescue, check out Chances Miniature Horse Rescue.
They have all kinds of minis of all ages and sex. Some r ex show horses and some r horses that become show horses. Most r pets and are always lookin for love. Everyone at Chances is super awesome and do help with any shipping from out of state adoptions too. They all go above and beyond for their equines that come into the rescue. I have a few minis that came from bad situations and was in my mind rescued. Also my stallion Bob was given to a rescue. I bought him outright before they gelded him and he is my heart horse and a sire to many foals and will live out his days here on my farm. Actually my farm is named after him and my rescued mare. He is bay which reminds me of a deep maple syrup and she is a silver dapple = Silver Maple Miniatures.
I love my minis and wouldn't trade them for the world!

I even just bought a new 2013 Calico miniature horse trailer last weekend. Drove down to Tennessee and picked Iit up. Yep! They make mini horse trailers!
Mine is 5ft tall x 5ft wide x 10ft long. I love it!

That trailer is awesome! I never knew they made special trailers for minis. I will look at that rescue and see what they have! Thanks!!
