Seramas are very small. your silkies might pick on them if not raised together as chicks.
Yes, a rat could kill your seramas if it's hungry enough, I'd make sure your set-up is predator proof before adding anymore birds.

Hi this is my set up. Only tiny birds can get in and totally fox proof but rats can get in.

Seramas are very small. Half the size or smaller of a normal bantam breed. They are bred to be people friendly. They are very personable. Tend to be laid back and should be able to get along with Silkies. They do need a heat source in winter as their little bodies don't produce enough heat in winter.
