Should I give up?

I checked that search out! Lots of useful info...According to that, they died between 2 and 3 days...Why, is my question

Chances are it was a genetic or developmental defect. Very common, and best they don't make it to the end with a defect. I find neural tube defects most often in eggs... and once... one made it to day 21... and when I opened it... it's brain was exposed and chick was dead. Natural culling as I'd like to think of it. Most defective birds will die as embryos early on.
