Should I house my turkey in with my hens? They have been together since birth.

Sure, why not? I did for a while, till the turkey met thanksgiving at least.

I keep My turkeys with my hens, I allow the entire flock to free range at will, they all cuddle up together on the roost at night except my Tom he roost on top of the coop I'm sure he'll go inside when it is cold. There is much discussion around Blackhead and natural preventative measures But I've had no problems so far.

Anyway they all seem to get along, I've got two narragansett turkeys, two Guineas 15 Chickens all living together with out any issues....

Perfect thanks for the feedback. At what age did you X your turkey ?

I processed my two BB Bronze toms at 5-6 months old. They were near 50lbs live... I suggest a bit younger if you don't have a huge oven that will fit a 37lb turkey. LOL

Not an issue if you are not raising a meat turkey.
