I have a young RIR roo (hatched this spring) that I was planning on keeping with my flock of layers after butchering my previous BA roos. I decided I needed to go down to 1 roo to give the girls a break! Anyway... he was fine until a couple of weeks ago, when he started to limp. I can't see any particular reason for the limp - there does not seem to be an obvious injury. I do know he'd been tousling with the older roosters and that he had peeved off a few hen turkeys who had more or less hopped on him and gave him a good stomp.

Sooo... do you think he's OK to breed?
