Should I leave a heater on to help incubate my eggs?

I noticed when the temperature drops in my room, so does the incubating temperature. I have a heater that goes off once you get it to a certain degree so I was wondering if I should leave my heater on in my room at 60 or something just to make sure the incubating heat stays on track? Or do I really not need a heater to keep my room the same temp?

I think it's got to be a trial and error sort of thing on your part. If your incy temp drops, then you probably do need the heater in your room, but you've gotta really monitor that incy temp to stay on track, and turn off the heater if the incy gets too hot.

What type of incy do you have?
