should I leave eggs under broody hen until fully hatched or bring them in to brooder once they pip?

This is our 2nd time hatching fertilized eggs under a broody hen. Last time our hen attacked the 1st chick that hatched and it died. My daughters were horrified. We then brought each egg inside once it pipped and they finished hatching inside. Now it is a different hen and I'm not sure if we should do the same thing or let her try to hatch all the eggs under her. She is just in a nest box open to the hen house, not separated from the other 13 hens. Please give me advice! Thanks so much.

It is a bit of a risk, leaving them under the hen.....

at the same time, I know that some people manage just fine with the broody, and all of her chicks, in the main coop.

I guess you just need to decide which way you want to go.
