Should I let my chickens out in the rain?

I open the door to the run when it's raining.

Most of them just stay inside, but I have a couple that really enjoy the rain...

But we don't often get down to 44 degrees either.....

Mine love the rain, they will go out and about then come back in and back out again. Leave the access to their coop open and let them decide. They will come back in if they are cold!

I opened the gate from the pen to the yard yesterday yes it was raining and all my chickens ran out they had fun catching worms they did go in and out of the pen which is partially covered and the coop all day so I think they know when to come in and when to stay out. all mine seemed fine wet and looking like drowned rats with feathers but okay and they had plenty of worms to eat. I would let the out and see what happens.

We had lots of rain yesterday, the loved it. Ran in and out all day, scratchen & pullin up worms. Fun just to watch them act like chickens.
