My girls have only started laying in the past few weeks, and already Bobby, my bantam cochin is showing an interest in sitting on eggs- hers, or anyone else's. She lets me take them with out a fuss, but she is out in the nest box right now - I don't know if she noticed I took them actually. Is this the beginning of broody behavior? Should I go scoot her out since she already laid her egg today?[IMG]

Sounds like she is thinking about going broody.

If she's already laid her egg then yeah, I would scoot her out of there, lol. I have a couple that like to go broody and I have to spend a week kicking them out of the nest boxes before they get the hint.
