Hello everyone,
Last year I lost all my ducks but 1...all 13 went to my neighbors pond and we herded them back home. Within the next few days I lost all but one. ?!?! They were dropping like flies...
So I had a lone duck who has gone broody. Her eggs of course were not fertile so we switched them with chicken eggs....Then I found a local lady selling hatching eggs of this breed...so we swapped the chicken eggs with duck eggs while she was doing her evening bath.
My problem is she has built a nest in the worst area possible. Under my backdoor steps, next to the box of siding!
I feel like we are stressing her out when we are going in and out or working in the side of the house.
Should I move her or should I just keep her where she is?! I don't want to discourage or break her broodiness!
Thanks
