Should I move my broody?

this is all very new. Came home from vacation and my hen was sitting on eggs. She is very broody and is doing a good job. we candeled yesterday and looks like we are a week or so along. she is in with 3 other hens and the rooster. Should I move her and the eggs to her own spot and is it safe this far into the game. they do not seem to be bothering her but I did find 2 new eggs from other hens in there this morning. took those out but am worried about bothering her everyday to see if another hen layed in her box. Or should I just block her where she is at and keep the otheres away from her?

The other hens will continue to lay their eggs in her nest, and if you don't want to check the nest every day for the new eggs, you may want to block off her nest. If your hen doesn't mind you peeking underneath her everyday, then do that. After the chicks are hatched, you'll want to block them off or move mom and the chicks to a location where they won't be bothered by the other chickens. Mom will protect the chicks from the other chickens, but providing her with her own space is less stressful.

I've not had luck moving a broody hen until the eggs have started to hatch, then I usually put them in a dog crate in the coop so that she is still with the other chickens. You should mark the eggs so that you will know which eggs to remove daily. She will probably return to the eggs after the other hens lay in her box, but she can go eat, drink, and dust bathe. Once the eggs start to hatch she will probably sit for a couple of days more, then take the chicks out to learn to eat and drink. I open the cage by the 2nd or 3rd day, but I show the chicks how to drink and where the food is in the dog crate on the 1st day. Watch the chicks closely for the first 3 days because they can be pecked to death by the other chickens especially if they escape the crate from Mom--I put cardboard around the bottom.

Thank you! I don't mind checking everyday but i was just worried disturbiung her daily would stress her out. when I do check should i wait until night to do it? I've been reading so much stuff its all starting to cloud my head. I did it in the morning before right after I thought my others may have layed in her nest. I did mark eggs when we candeled just for that reason. We are very excited I have 3 kids and think this is a great opportunity for them :0)

If she doesn't mind you checking, you can check any time of day.
I check my broodies throughout the day for new eggs.
I've only had one broody that didn't want me going anywhere near her nest, so I would just catch her off the nest then RUN and check.
