Should i move water in until they come out?

Got my 4 little chickens in their little coop...which they aren't inclined to leave. I put them in after dark, because that's when I got home. I know it's not abnormal, after all it's new and scary, but should I put the water inside so they don't go without until they're ready to go to the run? How about food? It's only a 4x4 coop.

Take out? No. It's too small and I'm too big to reach them. I can chase them out. As you see they are right at the door. A gentle nudge with a broom would do it. But I don't want to freak them out too much.

I havent bought any if those yet. I did try sprinkling food on the "ladder" but they didnt budge.

I'll move there food and water in front of the ladder, or as close as I can get. If they don't come out today, tonight I'll at least move the water inside. I can chase them out anytime.

Yay! They came out! I moved the food like you suggested and I could see them huddled in the door, so I opened the big coop door and threw shavings at them until they went out on the ladder. After that they were fine with it.
