(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Haven't gotten them yet. As a librarian, I will research and get everything ready before I get chicks in the spring
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? - 0
(3) What breeds do you have? - none yet. I would like a few layers and then meat chickens
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? - I've known about the website for years and have referred patrons to the website ever since Omaha, NE began allowing folks to have chickens in the city limits. We've had classes about the subject and this website is mentioned and shown as a valid and valuable resource.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? - reading, music, needlework, gardening, herbology, growing perennials and renewable resources, urban gardening, sustainability
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. - I have family scattered across the US. 3 cats, 2 dogs, and one child still at home. I'm a librarian at a public library and have recently (since 2013) become an urban gardener/sustainability student
