Hi, I need to know of o can keep my rooster with my hen while she is bloody. I am try to hatch a clutch. I only have one hen and one rooster. Thanks ahead for any information anyone can give me.

Most roosters will not bother hens while they sit. But you will have to keep an eye on him once the chicks hatch. Some roosters are excellent with chicks, while others are jealous and want their woman back. So have a plan ready to pull him when the chicks hatch, if necessary.

He should be fine. A sitting hen isn't very interesting for a rooster; he'll probably sulk in a corner if he has no other hens to boss about.:)
Make sure that when the chicks hatch the mum and chicks have space to get away from the rooster, dad (?) if necessary.
I've never had a rooster attack a chick but @WVduckchick has given good advice.

I don’t believe I’ve ever had a male attack chicks either. Other hens sometimes will attack chicks, yes. But I’ve also never had a lone rooster with only one hen. I did have a drake attack ducklings.
