I have 3 geese I got last spring-pair of Chinese and female Emden. They have a 10x12 storage shed that I put straw in for cover but they only go there at night and only if it is real cold. Today there is 4 inches of snow and they run all over the yard eating grass below the snow. I give them corn and scratch daily but they also eat whatever falls from the bird feeder. I replace the water in a five gallon bucket daily. Do they eat snow in a pinch? Tell me if I should pen them up or If I am doing anything wrong.
