Should I play chick sound for my "hospitalized" only child chick?

I have a baby chick with a broken leg. It was the only hatch that survived the last broody so it doesn't know nest mates.
It is about a week old maybe coming up on 2. My query is, I have video recorded it while it sits contentedly on my neck, I played the video back and it trilled at the sounds it heard. Is it helpful for it to hear the chirps and then trills back at it seeming to look for a response? Or is it more like traumatic? It seems like it's looking for the same sounds from the bird(it) on the recording. It mimics the sounds it hears then trills happily. Is it bad for it to hear the other "baby bird" but can't really connect with it? It trills while watching the video and then stops when I record so I can't even get a recording yet of the "trilling excitedly" part.

Why not provide it with a mirror for 'company'?
I second this! I have a mirror for my chicken infirmary and the birds seem to enjoy the “company”
