They look like this...

just another good reason to have more than one bator available to use. That way you don't need to worry about cross contamination.

Yep, thats what we all need, at least two bators per family. That should take a little stess out of the situation and let us have more fun with it.

I hatch eggs like that all the time. I would Sanitize them, 2Tablespoons of Clorox in 1 Gallon of warm water for 1 minute. Let air dry and place them in the incubator. Candle at day 7. Once the outside is sanitized they will not contaminate you other eggs.

Make sure to keep an eye one them and watch for any off odor. Porous egg can be hatched successfully and It would be nice if all our chickens laid perfect eggs but that does not happen.

The eggs you showed a pic of are porous (sp?) has something to do with a lack in the hens diet !! I also have hatched a bunch like that !! My last hatch had eggs like that and I got 100% hatch. I wouldn't wash or do anything to them. Let them sit and then put them in the bator !! Good luck and keep us updated !!

Also I have noticed that sometimes shells can look like that and not be porous (sp?)
