Absolutely. They need the nutrition.

So, the chickens n ducks are going to be getting a new house - the "guys" have heaps of plans to build this.
Looking at it from the practical stance of ME being the one to clean it, what is the easiest thing to do for the bottom of the COOP itself? They have full free run of the entire house yard, so I'm not bothering with an actual run - just a house to lock them up at nights.

Right now, they sleep on my porch > _ < and I have to hose the porch off daily in order to keep it clean!!

I guess this is actually different fom original post...but my chickens will now be 24 wks tomorrow n no eggs!!
What's going on I'm running out of evthing n can't buy anything in Sept bc of taxes.
Oct should be good though.
