Should I set them out??

I lockdowned last night but now I'm worrying about if my eggs should be taken out of the egg carton and put on a flat surface, in case by some miracle some of them do hatch. Should they be sitting on fencing or a towel instead of the carton?

I leave them in the carton. Keeps them from rolling around, bonking the others, and causing the other eggs problems.

ALSO- it makes for easier clean up AND faster hatching. The chicks have leverage in there.
