I have some 14ish day old chicks that we are raising right now. We are using Manna Pro Chick Starter (Medicated) and a heat plate. We have raised ducklings before but not chicks. I know that chicks grow slower but I'm not sure if this is too slow or not. I've looked online for data to compare our daily weight checks to but I can't find any to compare it to. Do these weight gain amounts look okay?
We added a nutri drench water into the brooder on day 13 and the weight gain amounts on day 14 were much bigger than normal. Could something not be working right with the feed? We haven't given them any treats yet. I will attach a picture of the weight gain amounts by day. Thanks for your help. I just want to make sure they are getting the nutrition they need! Should I switch their feed? Maybe to something not medicated?
