I was going to work in the garden this afternoon and thought while I was out that I would put my almost 3 week old ducklings into their new covered enclosure. I also thought I would let them dabble in a small water dish while out. It is supposed to be about 43 degrees and there is a wind. Do you feel this is okay for these ducklings? will they get too cold?

If you are going to be close by and can monitor them and its sunny, I'd say your okay for a little while. You may want to just take them out for 10 minutes or so, put them up and then start your chores. Ducklings tend to find as much trouble as possible and you wouldn't want them to play in water, get wet and then become chilled.
