I’m a new chicken owner, this is my first time with chicks. I have 4, originally thought to be Amerucanas, could be EEs. My chicks are 3.5 weeks old & one of them has this concerning bloody poop. What should I do next?

They are all eating and drinking right now, they all seem fine otherwise. First sign of suspicious poop was yesterday evening.

What do I do next? Please help. I’m lost & there is so much confusing info out there.

So, you can go out and get some corrid to have on hand. They have liquid and powder. They probably sell it where you get your feed. Here is corid dosing info.

I find liquid easier, but either works.

My question is if you should treat if they all seem perfectly well. I don't know that because all of mine were a little older and had symptoms when they had those droppings. I know that all chickens need to be exposed to coccia and build up an immunity, but I am pretty sure once you see droppings that bad they are being overrun and need help, especially that young.

@Eggcessive, do you mind weighing in when you have a second? I know you are so good with this kind of stuff.

That looks bloody, so I would get Corid at your feed store. Go ahead and treat all birds with the maximum dosage. Give 2 tsp of the liquid, or 1.5 tsp of the powder per gallon of water for 5-7 days as their only source of water. Do not add anything to the treated water including vitamins.

Thank you!! I appreciate it so much! I’ll treat them with corid.
