should i trim my silkies crest?

i feel so bad for my babies, they cant see! its hard for them to find food and water and they are only 4 months old. should i trim the crest?

I trim mine and they get around much better. I am convinced that they appreciate it!!

Are you going to be showing them? If not, then I can say that I have Silkies and when they get old enough, I plan to trim so that I can see their eyes. Then I will know they can see.

I just put myself in their shoes.
