Well its that time of year again to clean out the coop and till the run. Raked all the shavings out of the nesting boxes and coop, installed fresh shavings and filled the feed and water barrels.... and since I had a hose crack I cut it and routed it ro the barrel for easier fills instead of feeding a hose through the fence and all , now I just connect the hose at the gate and done ! Tilled all the shavings into the runs soil... it is sooooo black this year, going to hire some kids to shovel it out and dump where the garden is going so it can be tilled in and ready for planting, then I will get a truck load of new mulch to put in the coop ( been 5 years and its broke down to dirt now ) start over with fresh and keeps the muddy mess away. The girls are happy as 6 peas in a pods !

That looks marvelous! :highfive:

We hired high school kids once, from some group that wanted $$ to go on a trip somewhere. It worked well! They sent 3 of them. It's interesting how we could tell which two of the three were going to go places in this world, and the third will have struggles. :)
