Should I try and save this chicken with vent prolapse,

I have a very sweet bantam and I noticed a vent prolapse (I think) I've never seen this before by it looks bad! I will take her this morning to see a vet who specializes in chickens. I have a feeling she will just tell me to cull her, but I'd feel better asking BYC for advice before I do that. I separated her from the rest of the flock, tried to push her back together but she popped right out. Is there any hope? I don't mind devoting some time to this chicken, if there is something i can do to treat her. We are all very fond of her, but if there is no hope, I don't want to prolong her suffering. Very worried....
