Should I vaccinate for Marek's?

We are getting chicks and wondering if we should vaccinate since our flock will be of less than 10 birds (backyard flock). Any advice would be appreciated as we are newbies.

I would have your birds vaccinated for Mareks. It is a a very serious disease that is found nearly everywhere, and spreads easily.

Having them vacinated at the hatchery is the cheapest way to do it. The vaccine is available but only in relatively large amounts.
