they r 8 weeks old and it is gonna be 57 F mostly tonight but at 2 AM it will be 54 F for about an hour. can they stay out side in a dog igloo with a plenty of bedding? I need to know here shortly cuz it getting dark.

While I'm no expert...the ones I have tapped for advise told me my almost featherless CX could take freezing temps at 3 weeks. Last September, in Wisconsin, I put 25 CXs and 4 red layers outside in a tractor at 3 weeks. I know the nighttime lows were much lower than 54 degrees before they reached 8 weeks. If they have feathers, I would think a dog igloo and plenty of bedding would be more than enough for a 54 degree night. That's tropical in WI.

I think they will be fine. I leave my pop doors, and coop windows open when it get to be around 50 degrees.
