I have 6 young (about 3 month olds) Silkies that free range everyday. They are part of a group that consists of 3 BTW jap, and 2 OEGB, all about the same age. They do usually hang out around some small pine trees that we have, but they do really well. They don't have any trouble with not seeing, they don't have their head feathers much yet. But they can fly some, or at least they sure try to!
