Should the crop in 5 day old chicks be big?

Two of our four baby chicks seem to have crops that are sticking out (right side of chest); the other two are fairly flat. They are pooping quite a bit. They seem very young to keep a lot of chick starter in their crops. Does anyone know if this is normal? They certainly are acting healthy.

It's not uncommon for chicks to pig out. I've seen mine with a craw the size of a grape at the end of the day.
