Okay, now.. What is up with my birds.. They laid those eggs on Thursday or Friday and here it is Monday and I haven't gotten anymore???! Why would they do that? I gave them watermelon on Wednesday, could that have anything to do with it??

I'll have to try that I can just say to my neighbors that I decided to decorate and string my lights early for Christmas this year

Do the christmas lights have to be white?? I have blue.. I figured I'd try them since I had them stored away (I had them hanging in my room from the ceiling but they were collecting lots of dust.). What I did was tie them to a piece of wood with fishing line, the piece of wood was 3 feet long and about 4 or 5" wide.. So I made a over-the head light fixture with them.. Would that work?

When I went to take it outside I found another egg that wasn't there 30 minutes prior.. So it is my 5th one out of them

Looks promising so far. I collected an egg at 12am and another at 12pm.

I've also noticed that it seems they prefer to lay eggs if I give them treats, I went 3 days without eggs and I gave them grapes. On the 4th day I had an egg, I've been giving them treats each day since then and I've had an egg each day.

I guess so!! There was an egg in there Yesterday morning, and two more last night

I gave them steamed cauliflower and carrots

Today they got a buffet, Squash leaves, peanut butter crackers, ground flaxseed, mealworms and dead darkling Beatles (they just live out their lives then die of old age, I scooped them out of my colony).. Two more eggs as of 2 hours ago, so I might get more before morning

And while I remember, I am collecting the eggs for incubation.. I'm keeping them in my basement where it is coolest and turning them every day. How many days is the most you'd recommend waiting before incubation?? Like right now, the oldest egg I have is 3 days old.
