Should We Close The Gap?

We are building a 6x6 coop/shed for our 6 chicks. We decided on a slanted roof and left a gap at the top for ventilation that will be covered with chicken wire. We don't really like how it looks now that it's done. So we are debating whether to fill it in with siding or leave as is. There will be 4-5 windows when completed. The door will also be screened. So we feel like is enough ventilation. Thoughts?

I would leave it open. If you live somewhere that gets cold in the winter you will probably close the windows when it gets too cold for a breeze to blow through the coop. You will want ventilation to be above the perches. If you live someplace hot you'll want as much ventilation as possible anyway.
