Should you help a chick hatch?

I don't help mine but people I know help their chicks hatch. Is it a good idea to help or not?

If they are too weak to hatch, then they usually don't make it. I don't help unless they simply get stuck to the membrane, because humidity dropped too low. I have helped stuck chicks, and they have been perfectly healthy. Help them if you want, don't help, if not.

You aren’t supposed to help, but it’s totally up to you. I haven’t helped any of mine.

I’ve only successfully helped when they’re shrink wrapped. Heck, I helped one yesterday. It’s a cute little peeper now!
