My grandparents have been raising layer birds for a few years now and this year I got some birds for show and we built a small divided coop for them. Well the problem is that my Silver Laced Polish have started to yellow on some of the birds since they love to be outside and my leghorns tend to fight a bit too. What are some ideas to keep our birds in good show quality shape and keep them from fighting. I want to have really high quality birds that I can breed and that have shots at winning the larger shows. We also though don't want to have to build another coop. Is there a way where they can still go outside and still keep them from fighting and have good quality birds?
P.S. I just showed Friday for the first time and won 2 grand champs, 2 reserves, all blue ribbons, reserve best in show, and also senior showmanship!
