Where can my son show his chickens?

At a fair or at another poultry show. The fairs have certain dates and registration deadlines so you may want to check the ones near you.

If you're in the states, county fairs are probably the way to go, for now. 4-H or FFA clubs can be a really good resource, if you'd like to check them out.

We have a really nice chicken club in NH if you live near there.

You don't say where you are located. If you are in California, all shows are cancelled because of the Newcastle disease, so the answer would be nowhere.
