Show me all your ducks!!

Here's a recent pic of my girls, just about 4 and a half weeks old today. It was so sad when I had to leave for work today and they wanted to be let out to roam the yard but I wouldn't let them.

I'll play! This is my Mallard drake with my two Pekin drakes. The Mallard came with the house (belonged to former owners) and the Pekins were dropped off here once they got too big for the people who bought them for their grandkids for easter. That was about two years ago:

My Pekin lady, Betty White. She belonged to a dear friend of mine. Her pen was raided and Betty White got a puncture wound and lost her right eye and her only ducky friend was killed. She does wonderfully here and is a dear heart. I am setting seven of her eggs here shortly!:

This is a pic of Betty and the three Mals I hatched last spring. She took them on their first "true" (ie, not human-directed) duck outing. She took WONDERFUL care of them once I released them fully to her. No new pics of these three so this counts as their pic. Betty was still fairly young herself here.

This is Mama Mallard on her second attempt at a nest last year. Her first baby had just hatched- can you see it? She is also sitting on a nest right now. Broody lil thing, she is. She belonged to my Mother-in-law who brought her to me when she moved. Seeing a pattern here?

This is me a few months ago with my best friend's huge duck! He kept trying to jump on my lap and begging for my popcorn.
