Any turken frizzle owners out there??? Show me your pictures!!! I love them and can't wait to get some in the spring (or at least breed to get some...)!!

Also, add any info you want/can on YOUR NN/Frizzle!
Like their personality for example!!

Thanks!!

Hi!
I've got 5 frizzled Naked Necks, 3 hens and 2 roos
--- they are [{(Naked Neck x Silkie) x Silkie} X (Frizzle Cochin x Silkie)].

Here are a couple of the frizzled NN hens:

I was hoping to get a dark-skinned chick from the cross, but they are all light-skinned.

The roos are black/red and blue/gold. I'll take their pics later today if you're interested in seeing them.

Dipsy Doodle Doo~
I'd like to see the roos, and I'd REALLY like to see that blue/gold one!!

Lol. I honestly like the light skinned better and prefur the 4 toes.

Just wondering do you sell eggs??

Hi, I got his pic, but haven't got it loaded yet. I'm working on it

Right now, those 3 Frizz NN hens are in 'The Frizzle Pen' with a lemon blue Cochin roo. The chicks will likely have red skin and 4 toes (I haven't counted those hens toes

Yes, I offer eggs for sale when they are available. If you wanted eggs just from the frizz NN girls, I'd have to seperate them cause I can't tell their eggs from the feather-necked frizz girls. Just let me know

It doesn't matter, if I got eggs from you in the spring, you could just send me random ones from them

How much do they cost??
Oh and how would you say NN/Friz's fair in cold weather??

Hi,
Here's the roo I mentioned (he's looks lousy because he's molting and my camera wouldn't cooperate). He's not part of my breeding program and lives in a roo pen.

Hatching eggs are $18.00 a dozen (including s&h) . I'll keep them there unless shipping (or feed) goes up again.

I'm trying to convince myself that I *like* red-skinned Naked Necks, but I'm not quite there yet.
I do have a red-skinned NN roo out of a mottled Cochin hen ( another happy accident ) that I think is a beauty.
He's not just red-skinned, he's downright flourescent!

I could put him back with the frizz NN girls, but since they all have Silkie in their background (and could be carrying the silkie feather gene) their chicks could be frizzled and silkie feathered.
Not necessarily a *bad* thing, but not something I find enjoyable.
I will, for sure, put him back with a mottled Cochin hen and get at least a few mottled Naked Necks.

I love mottled birds so I *might* learn to love the red-skinned ones after all

Awww they are cute!! I love 'em all, the regular NNs and the friz NNs.. well I guess I should say the light skinned ones.. not much of a silkie person...

How would you say they ((the frizzles)) are in cold weather??
Are yours bantams??
