Is there a term for the multi colored tail feathers on the buff?

Oh so pretty! How old is he? Vinny is 11 weeks... he crowed at 10 weeks.. and he crowed yesterday morning when I went out.. I love, love, love to hear him! I just wish it were more often! Did you post your Cochins on the Cochin thread? I’d like to see.. I am in love with my new CochinsCaramello, my fairly new Bantam Cochin who has not even crowed yet!

My Silkie Zoltan will happily live with any other cockerels/roosters, he's such a wuss and won't show any confrontation.
However, the Light Sussex Colin and the Barbu D'Anvers Ruben hated eachother. The main one that was the most protective was Ruben. Sadly, they would have eventually killed eachother so couldn't be trusted and Colin had to go. We needed a protective rooster that will keep people off our land, Ruben does that despite just being a bantam but Colin wouldn't have done the job.

I heard that this breed is usually more quiet, and he seems to be!
