Show me your insulation pictures

We used plain old R13 fiberglass insulation...

Whatever way you decide to insulate, you must cover it with some sort of plywood so that the chickens can't get to the insulation and peck at it. You can use 1/4" luan or any sort of plywood or paneling perhaps but it really should be covered.
 
When I was insulating my coop with the blue foam insulation, the girls had torn the bottom portion apart by the next morning. So, I would recommend covering the insulation before letting the girls have their way with it.
